Patrick F. Kane has been functioning as a consultant, educator and community advisor addressing planning and community needs for over 40 years. He has directed his own planning firm, KRS Associates, from offices in Reston, Virginia, since 1966. In 1973, he formed The Corporation for Community Development, which functions as a consortiu, of firms and individuals to carry out multi disciplinary and multi-site projects. Local projects include A Future of Tysons Corners, prepared for TYTRAN, a plan for the downtown area of the Town of Herndon, and a assessment of the reinvestment potential of the Lake Anne area of Reston for Fairfax County.
